Experts from all over the world discuss home networks
at the e/home Congress (14/6/2004)
The congress accompanying e/home will feature
leading international experts and its programme also reflects the
concept of the event as a whole: the topics have been chosen for
their wide-ranging appeal to various different industries, trades
and technical platforms, as well as to marketing experts, engineers,
suppliers and potential customers. This year the focus is on the
various fields of application for home networking, its uses, and
what the consumer expects from network systems.
For visitors to the congress there will be
an additional highlight this year: The accompanying forum "Innovative
Consumer Electronics", organised by the consumer and communication
electronics association Gesellschaft fŸr Unterhaltungs- und Kommunikationselektronik
mbh (gfu) and the Consumer Electronics Division of the electrical/electronic
industry federation ZVEI, will supplement the e/home Congress with
the very latest consumer electronics topics and trends. This series
of papers, accompanied by its own exhibition, will focus on a wide
range of subjects involving the electronic media.
In accordance with practical requirements
the series of papers on offer at e/home and "Innovative Consumer
Electronics" is arranged according to fields of application, customer
target groups and market environments. An overview of the planned

Messe Berlin is the main organiser of e/home
2004. The co-organiser is Gesellschaft fŸr Unterhaltungs- und Kommunikationselektronik
mbH (gfu), which is also responsible for organising the Internationale
Funkausstellung (IFA). The retail industry's technical organisation
Bundesverband Technik des Einzelhandels (BVT) and the electrical/electronic
industry association Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie
(ZVEI) are also co-organisers of this event.
