The Max Introduces Pavasubi Speaker System At CEDIA
2004 (8/6/2004)
The Max will be launching a completely new outdoor
speaker system at CEDIA 2004 which will provide specifiers with
a real alternative to traditional subwoofer systems.
The all new APSS-1 (all purpose satellite
subwoofer system - more commonly called the Pavasubi) is just one
of a range of new products to be launched this summer by The Max.
Other new lines include the HLSS-1, a combined outdoor speaker and
surveillance system, and the Wherewoof - a state of the art commercial
subwoofer.
Designed specifically for commercial applications,
the APSS-1 is the newest product in the Rockustics range of outdoor
high fidelity simulated rock loudspeakers. This latest design incorporates
a subwoofer with a dual satellite system which will ensure a high
output from what looks like an otherwise small outdoor speaker system.
The subwoofer features a specially designed
dual voice coil 8-inch driver housed in a vented simulated stone
enclosure with a passive crossover. Boasting 150 Watt power handling,
the APSS-1 is supplied with a matching pair of 5.25 inch coaxial
satellite speakers designed to reproduce the audio band pass over
100hz to compliment the subwoofer's high output, low frequency performance.
