Crestron's Total Integrated Solutions For Home Automation (8/6/2004)

Crestron, the leading manufacturer of advanced control and automation systems will be showing its comprehensive range of home technology products on Stand No K8, Hall 4 at CEDIA 2004. They will be displayed in a simulated home environment to demonstrate Crestron's ability to provide a total integrated solution for home automation.

Crestron delivers the total package needed to manage, integrate and control all the systems and technologies that keep us comfortable, entertained and secure throughout the entire house. Visitors to the stand will be shown just how easy their systems are to use and get a real feel of how Crestron can be simply integrated into your home to control everything from sound and vision, through to lighting, security and temperature control.

For the first time ever in the UK, Crestron will be demonstrating a new range of products designed to control intercom, lighting and dimming systems as well as a new FM tuner. Crestron will also highlight a new range of audio products including amplifiers and surround sound processors.

Two new low-cost remote controls will also be on show including Crestron's WPR-48, the industry's first totally waterproof RF wireless remote. Perfect for controlling music, television, lighting and more, Crestron's 'remote on a rope' is safe to use in the shower or Jacuzzi. The ML-500 designed specifically for home cinema applications will also be on display.

In anticipation of the new touchpanel range to be launched at Infocomm in Atlanta on the 9th June, Crestron will be showing their award winning Isys panels with many new graphical features. Visitors to the Crestron stand will have the opportunity to place their details on the mailing list which ensures they will automatically be informed, as soon as the new panels are released. Crestron will also highlight the latest in their popular line of handheld wireless touchpanels, the STX-1700CXP, featuring 2.4 GHz spread spectrum and a 150-foot range.
