News Vantage Is Showing Its Colours! (8/6/2004) We are pleased to introduce the latest addition to our product line: the COLOUR 5.5" fully freely programmable touch screen! This new 64000 colour, active matrix LCD touch screen will live alongside our existing monochrome LCD touch screen. The quarter VGA LCD 5.5 inch diagonal display is small enough to keep the area from feeling cluttered but versatile enough to fulfill the needs of almost any application. A small proximity detector senses movement and activates the backlight. High resolution graphics appear and the user can navigate between as many as 250 distinct pages to control any component connected to the Vantage system. Some of the features: ¥ Comes in wall and table mount versions ¥ Senses interaction with a proximity detector and activates the backlight ¥ Accepts commands through an integrated IR receiver ¥ Features status buttons to display time, days of the week, months, years, temperature, and lighting levels ¥ Supports 1,000 programmable buttons and 250 screens ¥ Incorporates components such as contact inputs, light sensors, and motion sensors through an auxiliary port on the back of the station ¥ Provides 100% design customization ¥ Dimensions, HWD : 5.50" x 6.50" x 1.20" or 140.4 x 165.3 x 30.26 mm
