Marata introduces quality manual home cinema screens (7/6/2004)

Marata Vision launches a new range of manual, retractable home cinema screens from Japanese screen manufacturer OSI Co. Ltd., at CEDIA Expo 2004.

"I have been reluctant to offer manual screens to our dealers" said Bob Wheeler, MD of Marata Vision "as I have been unimpressed with the quality on offer Ð until now. The roller screens from OS Screen overcome all the problems normally associated with manual screens. These screens are accurate to position, retract automatically and the fabric has excellent projection characteristics".

OS Screen's patented "Ball-Stop" mechanism ensures the screen stops exactly where you want it when pulling it down then when released, the "Soft-Wind" mechanism automatically retracts the screen into it's housing Ð just like a motorised screen but without the motor!

The "Pure Matt II" fabric fitted to the OS Screen is of unusually high quality for a manual screen with accurate colour reproduction and excellent lay-flat properties.

The OS Screen is the perfect partner for entry level and mid-range home cinema projectors and a far better alternative to most manual and low cost motorised screens.
