Sunfire Ð New High-End Home Cinema products for the UK (1/6/2004)

Veda UK is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as the sole UK distributor of the Sunfire range of Home Cinema electronics and sub-woofers.

Veda's Business Development Manager, Steve Reichert said "We're really excited about bringing the prestigious Sunfire range to the UK. Every model is the creation of the legendary American electronics designer Bob Carver and hand assembled at their factory in Snohomish, Washington, U.S.A."

He continued "The range consists of state-of-the-art home cinema electronics and sub-woofers and all boast awesome output powers, which enables them to reproduce the full dynamic range and exhilarating experience of a Hollywood blockbuster. For example, the top of the range True Sub-woofer EQ Signature features an earth-shaking 2,700 watts amplifier and can deliver a peak sound pressure level greater than 116 db. Yet this astonishing sub-woofer is only a small 13" cube and will operate in rooms that could never support a large bulky old-fashioned sub-woofer."

"On the amplifier front, the range-topping Cinema Grand Signature 400-seven power amplifier delivers 7 x 400 watts rms continuously per channel, all channels driven, into 8 ohms, from 20Hz to 20 KHz. Into 4 ohms it can thunder out, 7 x 800 watts continuously, all channels driven."

"This means that it can also handle really quiet signals absolutely perfectly, accurately extracting every last nuance of sound and surpassing anything you've heard before. It's no wonder we're all so excited!"

The new Sunfire range starts at £1,600 and will be available from late May 2004.
