Rotating Sliding Rail System From Middle Atlantic Products Provides Easy Equipment Access (1/6/2004)

Providing enhanced access to rear connections of mounted electronic components, the SRSR Series Rotating Sliding Rail System from Middle Atlantic Products will be demonstrated at CEDIA. The slide out system's flush-mount design allows the highly aesthetic integration of a professional equipment rack system in the home. Pulling out of a closet, wall or custom joinery and rotating in either direction, the SRSR series delivers simplified access to rear connections, facilitating the installation and servicing of electronic components.

In addition to superior aesthetics, key benefits afforded by the SRSR series include time and labour savings and advanced cable management of electronic systems in the home. A self-centering base simplifies system alignment within joinery, and easily accessible mounting holes allow preliminary mounting with the system in the closed position. In addition, the rack frame lifts off for off-site integration of equipment, saving time in the field.

Rackrail is marked in rackspace increments for quick equipment alignment while effective cable management is made possible by using a rear cable support in conjunction with integral cable lacing bars on the system's full-height rear rackrail.

Available to accommodate equipment depths of 482mm and 584mm, the SRSR series is additionally available in sizes ranging from 12 to 24 RU, which are specified upon ordering. The slide out system can accommodate up to 136 kg of equipment.
