As of April 2004 Hayden Labs becomes Denon UK Limited
(19/4/2004)
As you may know, Hayden Laboratories became a
wholly owned subsidiary company of initially Nippon Columbia and
latterly Denon Limited in the early 1990's. At the time, we decided
not to change the name as the Hayden Laboratories name was well
established in its own right and Hayden was still active with third
party agencies. Since then, the Denon brand name has become increasingly
strong in the market and we have increased our focus on the sales
and marketing of Denon in preference to any third party products.
For a while now, it has been clear that not
having Denon as part of our company name has caused some confusion
for customers. For the last twelve to eighteen months, we have been
working hard behind the scenes on a series of initiatives designed
to enhance many aspects of our operation and the support we are
able to offer retailers and our end-customers.
A number of these initiatives relate only
to our company, but others have been taking place on a pan-European
and global basis and will be rolling out in the coming financial
year. In fact we anticipate the majority of these enhancements to
be implemented within the next 3-6 months.
