Crestron Introduces LightSource Brand (8/4/2004)

New brand name encompasses Crestron's entire line of lighting control and automation products and systems, including automation enclosures, modules, dimmers and switches

Presenting its complete line of lighting and automation products, Crestron is making Lightfair International 2004 the launching pad for its new LightSource(tm) by Crestron brand name.

LightSource by Crestron is the industry's most comprehensive lighting control and automation solution, encompassing s five automation enclosures, seven module options and remote room dimmer and switch options. The result is the ultimate in commercial quality lighting performance.

Crestron has been building reliable lighting control systems for more than 20 years. With LightSource by Crestron fully integrated into a home or commercial system, moods both subtle and dramatic can be created with the simple touch of a button. The full range of LightSource dimming and control modules, as well as well as Crestron's unique home automation cabinets and mounting plates, make it all possible.

Interface options include all of Crestron's 25 user interfaces, from touchpanels to keypads, as well as remotes and Web-based control using the Microsoft ActiveX-enabled e-Control 2(tm) software.

One key component of LightSource by Crestron is the PAC2 control processor, which links touchpanels, keypads, wireless remotes and the Internet to lighting and climate control modules located in the Crestron home automation enclosure. In addition to controlling the lighting system throughout the home, the PAC2 enables the homeowner to seamlessly integrate other systems such as HVAC and security.

Another innovation found only with Crestron Lighting is the amazing new D3 Pro software, Crestron's comprehensive lighting, HVAC and security software suite. It is the Design and Development tool for today's system integrator and provides the necessary Documentation for a successful installation.

Enter a lighting load schedule into D3 Pro, specify equipment, and program all keypads and touchpanels for complete control of all of your lighting needs, all within a programming environment for the lighting professional rather than the technical programmer.
