SIM2 Introduces HDMI input to the DOMINO Line (5/4/2004)

SIM2 Multimedia, the leading manufacturer of home theatre projectors, announces the introduction of HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) to their multi award-winning DOMINO range of front projectors.

This decision has been made to ensure that SIM2 products remain at the forefront of the home theatre industry and to comply with growing demand for a greater digital connectivity between our products and other external devices.

HDMI is considered the standard for future digital connectivity and is the chosen format adopted by SIM2 across the entire projector range Ð the only manufacturer currently offering this facility. HDMI will be available on all SIM2 products with immediate effect, although a non-HDMI version of the DOMINO 20 will still be available to anyone not requiring this technology.

HDMI transmits HDTV at 2.2Gbps and is an uncompressed medium with HDCP (high bandwidth digital contents protection). HDMI, in comparison to any other digital medium currently available, is the best standard for uncompressed Audio/Video digital stream.

In addition to this latest technology, further exceptional features of the DOMINO range include:

8000 hour lamp life
Quality Glass Sealed Optics
Low Maintenance
Motorized Zoom and Focus Adjustment
Lens Shift for Ease of Install
Exceptional Picture Quality & Clarity

SIM2 projectors are designed and manufactured exclusively by SIM2 Multimedia specifically for home theatre. The SIM2 design meets the needs of home theatre enthusiasts looking for both cutting-edge technology and elegance of design to fit beautifully within the decor of their home.
