Optoma announce longer lamp-life for the Multi Award-Winning ThemeScene H56 Video projector (30/3/2004)

Optoma Europe today announced the extension to its lamp life for the multi award-winning ThemeSceneTM H56 video projector. In the latest version of the H56, the lamp will now run for 3000 hours - meaning an extra 400 films can be viewed, or an extra 1000 hours game playing and TV viewing. This multitude of viewing combinations is now available with no increase to price.

"Continuous research and listening to the needs of our customers has resulted in this important upgrade for the hugely successful H56", said Bob Johnson, Head of Marketing for EMEA at Optoma Europe. "Increasing the lamp life will be of enormous benefit to our customers, both in terms of value and peace of mind."

With rich, dark, vivid colours, the ThemeSceneTM H56 combines a cool 1000 ANSI Lumens with 2000:1 Contrast Ratio, guaranteeing stunning video images at home.

Optimised for European Widescreen (16:9) viewing of DVD and TV (PAL and SECAM), the H56 features a Native PAL mode to ensure the resolution is exactly matched pixel by pixel, to the resolution of the projector, thus increasing detail and image quality.

The ThemeSceneTM H56 is released with the '3 year Peace of Mind 'HOTSWAP' warranty' - next day collection with a loan unit and the original is delivered back at no extra charge.

Features include:

* Contrast Ratio of 2000:1
* XGA, 12¡ , DDR, DMD chip from Texas Instruments
* European optimised Widescreen (16:9) and 4:3 mode
* High Brightness 1000 ANSI Lumens
* Near Silent 32dB fan level
* Advanced Colour Control
