HomeLogic Integrates Lighting Control Systems from EDT with its OneHome Solution (11/3/2004)

Homelogic, LLC introduces the addition of the Electronic Design Technology's (EDT) I-LiNE lighting control systems to the OneHome family of compatible lighting systems. These systems are added to growing list of compatible lighting control including Lightolier, Leviton, OnQ/ALC as well as any X-10 lighting systems. OneHome adds event and time-based control, remote access, and a simple interface to control lighting control systems and enables integration with other in-home systems such as security and video.

"The addition of EDT lighting control is another example of our commitment to open systems. HomeLogic is committed to integrating leading home electronics systems into the OneHome solution in order to maximize ease-of-use and consistency for homeowners, especially with IP-based networked systems such as our OneHome solution" stated Jim Herman, co-founder of HomeLogic.

"We're pleased that HomeLogic has integrated the I-LiNE Lighting Control System into the OneHome Management and Control system," noted Marc Bally, President of EDT. "I-LiNE Lighting Controls Systems, recently recognized as one of the Top 25 Products of the Year by Electrical Contracting and Engineering News Magazine, are a great choice for homeowners seeking ease of use, value and durability for their lighting needs."

We added the EDT lighting control to our portfolio of supported lighting systems because we see synergy with OneHome and increasing demand for these cost-effective technologies," stated Buddy Duncan, co-founder of HomeLogic.

"Integrators of EDT lighting control can now enhance convenience and integrate the EDT lighting control with Security, Climate, and other systems in the home with OneHome ." Stated Joe Lautner, VP of Marketing and Sales for HomeLogic.
