BizLink Technology Announces the Availability of
High-Definition Multimedia Interface Cable Assemblies (11/3/2004)
HDMI High Speed Audio/Video Interconnect Is The
Rapidly Emerging Connectivity Standard For The Consumer Electronics
And Computer Industries
BizLink Technology, Inc., a global supplier of
cable assemblies and wiring harnesses to OEM and contract manufacturers,
today announced the showcasing of High-Definition Multimedia Interface(TM)
(HDMI(TM)) enabled connectors and assemblies during CeBIT, in Hanover
Germany.
BizLink, among the pioneers in this product
line, began the development of HDMI interconnect solutions in Summer
2003 and is considered among it's pioneers. Since then, BizLink
has supported numerous major CE companies worldwide in their HDMI
prototyping. "HDMI is a long-awaited audio/video solution initiated
by the consumer electronics and computer industries. It combines
both audio and video into a single, compact interface and accommodates
the high signal transmission speeds demanded by finer resolutions,"
said Felix Teng, Executive V.P. of Technology, BizLink. "Simply
put, HDMI is the answer to the connectivity needs of the audio and
video industries for the next decade."
While consumer electronic devices have become
digital, their audio and video interfaces have remained analog.
HDMI technology enables an uncompressed, all-digital connection
between digital source devices such as DVD players/recorders, digital
set-top boxes, A/V receivers, and digital display devices such as
digital TVs, plasma displays, LCD TVs and projectors.
BizLink will showcase HDMI cable and connector
assemblies in the UMAX booth Hall 25, Stand D62 from March 18-24.
Joining BizLink in the introduction of HDMI products at CeBIT is
Accell Corporation. Accell is a leading brand of performance audio/video
interconnects for the consumer market. Accell will display their
new line of enhanced HDMI cables and other interconnectivity products
in the UMAX booth.
