HRH The Princess Royal Opens Linn's Extended HQ (10/3/2004)

HRH The Princess Royal today visited Linn Products Ltd, world leading manufacturer of high performance sound and vision systems, to perform the official opening of their recently completed extended premises in Waterfoot, Glasgow. Also present at the ceremony were local MSP's Ken Macintosh and Stewart Maxwell.

Ivor Tiefenbrun MBE, Managing Director of Linn Products Ltd said," We are delighted that Her Royal Highness is prepared to recognise the hard work and creativity that makes Linn different and special and I am particularly pleased to see our elected government representatives and local dignitaries here today. Scotland's hard pressed manufacturing sector requires their appreciation, understanding and active support to survive and prosper."

The £7m expansion and related investment programme, which has taken 18 months to complete, has doubled the scale of Linn's manufacturing operations and will help ensure that Linn will continue to grow and lead its industry. In addition to the essential extra space for design, production, sales and related organisational activities, the new building also accommodates the new system configuration and test areas needed to deliver the improved performance quality, productivity and service that Linn customers around the world will expect in the future.

Linn Products was awarded Royal Warrant status from January 2002 as a provider of Entertainment Systems to HRH The Prince of Wales. Linn sound and vision systems are precision engineered to ensure the most accurate sound reproduction and can be found in the world's finest homes, superyachts, royal palaces and award winning commercial developments.
