News WeatherHawk Announces NetCam Image Integration (10/3/2004) At the Electronic House Expo (EHX) in Orlando, FL, March 11-13, WeatherHawk (Booth#1146) will show the WeatherHawk personal weather station with a Star-Dot NetCam(tm) interface. WeatherHawk weather stations with their standard Windows based PC software are easily interfaced with the Star-Dot Megapixel video camera. With images up to 1280x960 in resolution, the new NetCam(tm) MP is the highest quality network camera on the market. With its 1.3 megapixel Sony CCD sensor, the NetCam(tm) MP is the perfect tool for web attraction, weather monitoring or high definition security. Now a home owner can both view and assess the weather conditions at a second home or vacation property from any internet connected location. The NetCam(tm) MP option adds visual weather display and security features to the WeatherHawk home control features when connected to a home automation system. WeatherHawk weather stations also have a range of software drivers that enable Plug-and-Play interface to Crestron and Premise home automation systems.
