Loewe introduces new entry-level Home cinema system (2/3/2004)

Home cinema systems represent a major growth market. Today's viewers want to watch feature films from the comfort of their living rooms. With the Tremo subwoofer satellite system and the Auro DVD preceiver, Loewe is introducing an entry-level home cinema constellation that integrates exquisite product design and exceptional quality in an affordable package. In combination with a Loewe Mimo or Nemos TV set, this system brings together visual aesthetics with outstanding picture and sound quality to create the ultimate home cinema experience.

At the heart of the new Loewe home cinema system is the Auro DVD receiver. Auro is more than a modern DVD player capable of reproducing DVD audio and video media ranging from MP3 files to photo CDs, it is also a high-end FM radio tuner. Equipped with high-performance Dolby Digital and dts surround decoder, Auro is the perfect all-in-one solution in combination with the Tremo active subwoofer satellite system.

The new Loewe Tremo subwoofer satellite system delivers powerful surround sound in an impressive design package. Combined with a new Loewe Mimo or Nemos television, the result is a unique, individualised home cinema solution with breathtaking surround sound:

* Mimo 32, Auro and Tremo create a home cinema system that appeals to young, trend-conscious people who like to experiment

* With the Nemos television, the home cinema system appeals to wider audiences from young to modern

The unsurpassed Tremo sound quality comes from the subwoofer's integrated digital power amplifier and low-resonance ceramic materials used for the speaker enclosure. At the same time, the soft-contoured form of the subwoofer satellite system reduces unwanted acoustic waves to ensure a precise, clear bass response.

The fact that the TV speaker is used to reproduce the centre-channel audio signals offers an added advantage: the sound of the actors' dialogue comes directly from the screen giving viewers an authentic cinema experience. The wide variety of Tremo placement options - on a stand in the centre of the room, elegantly placed on a shelf, or mounted on the wall - ensures maximum versatility. The signals for the satellite speakers come either from the Loewe television or from the Auro DVD receiver.

In a system constellation (Auro, Tremo and Loewe TV) Mimo and Nemos communicate with Auro via the bi-directional Loewe L-Link interface. The Loewe L-Link offers a number of advantages, for example, the volume controls and on/off switches can be fully synchronised within the system.

Loewe also uses a system approach when it comes to operating convenience. In terms of the structure and design, the Auro and Loewe television user-interfaces are perfectly matched. With Loewe's Personal Control System (PCS), all functions, e.g. Play, Stop or MP3 information are controlled via the RC 2 system remote keypad. Thanks to Loewe L-Link, these functions can be controlled even when the Auro is placed out of sight in a closed cabinet or rack.

In addition to a wide range of performance features, the Loewe Auro and Tremo home cinema system offers excellent value for money. The Auro and Tremo products are available from authorised Loewe dealers.
