RGB Communications Ltd to host ICIA Design School (23/2/2004)

RGB Communications are delighted to announce that they will be hosting the ICIA's Design School Level 1: the principles of Applied AV Design at their dedicated AV industry training centre, RGB i-School. Sponsored by AMX, the course runs from Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th April and explores the principles required for the design of proper visual display systems, audio systems and control systems.

The ICIA's Design school has trained hundreds of professionals in the art and science of audiovisual design over the years. This particular course is led by Senior Instructor Scott Wills and is invaluable for anybody that works in or has responsibility for the design of AV facilities, including systems sales professionals, designers, engineers, project managers and technology managers.

"We are delighted to support the ICIA and host this most practical and valuable course" commented RGB Managing Director Gordon Innocent. "We are totally committed to training and development for the AV industry. Over the years we have put well over 1,000 AV sales and technical professionals through the training courses that we run here at our dedicated training centre".

As with all ICIA courses, members can apply their "Edubucks" towards the cost of the course - up to a maximum of 50% of the tuition fees. The course costs £450 for ICIA members and £600 for non-members.

Full details of the course can be obtained from Geoff Turner, ICIA Regional Manager Europe who added, "This is the latest of our courses to be held in the UK with the valued support of leading ICIA members such as RGB. We fully appreciate this help that allows us to keep the cost of training down and make it even more attractive to members and non-members alike"
