With technology drawn from Formula 1, Wilson Benesch continues to grow its remarkable and luxurious range of loudspeakers. The latest development is a new floor standing design the Curve, which borrows much of its design elements from the fabulous £9000.00 A.C.T. loudspeaker, but is available at almost half the price.

The A.C.T. and the Curve are the most accurate loudspeakers that the company has ever released. The structural elements are all made from materials more commonly seen in advanced engineering systems and include advanced Carbon Composite structures, Steel, Neodymium Iron Boron Motors and unique Polymer Diaphragms. The structural integrity of the Curve is a benchmark and provides a clarity and precision that would be impossible to achieve with conventional loudspeaker materials technology.

This is a dynamic loudspeaker that sounds like an electrostatic, conjuring a three dimensional sound field with dramatic dynamics, authority and presence.

The Curve uses Wilson Benesch's own designed and built Tactic dynamic drive units with Neodymium Iron Boron Motors and polymer diaphragms 1 x 170mm (7 in) Wilson Benesch Tactic bass 1 x 170mm (7 in) Wilson Benesch Tactic bass / mid 1 x 25mm (1 in) Soft dome, hand painted silk, ultra linear Wilson Benesch tweeter.

Advanced Composite Technology cabinet

No one else makes such complex Carbon Fibre structures to such a high level of quality. The design allies 24 materials to achieve a staggeringly rigid and non-resonant structure. Build quality is exceptional, with all parts assembled to the highest tolerances. The metal base and massive spikes provide a suitable foundation.

Finishes and bespoke options

The choice of woods is extensive with straight veneer, burrs and birds eye wood options. For the demanding consumer WB can offer bespoke options. If it can be extracted without harming the planet, it can be made. Architectural polymer finishes in Silver and Black are available and colours can be specified to match any colour scheme.
