Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) Certifies Screen Research ClearPix2 projection screen (16/2/2004)

The prestigious Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) has certified the Video Projection Screen ClearPix2 from Screen Research.

That certification guarantees the quality and the consistency of the picture delivered by ClearPix, the screen already THX certified for its unmatched acoustical transparency.

The certification is valid for both ClearPix2 White and Grey, and validates that the image provided by the screen is well under SMPTE .004 specifications, for delivering a perfect and neutral picture:

- Primary colour balance (red, green and blue colours)

- Uniformity of the luminance. (shift from viewing angles 0¡ to 60¡)

- Uniformity of the chrominance. (shift from viewing angles 0¡ to 60¡)

- Image definition.

About ClearPix Projection Screens:

The ClearPix range consists exclusively of acoustically transparent projection screens with excellent audio and video characteristics.

This range of acoustically transparent screens is also the only one compatible with fixed-pixel projectors such as DMD, DLP, LCD, or D-ILA.

ClearPix2 is available for fixed-frame and motorized screens, in 16/9 and 4/3 aspect ratios, for image widths from 70" (1.80 m) to 120" (3.05 m).

It is available in matte white (0.95 gain) for all types of projectors or in pearl grey (0.75 gain) for very high-powered projectors or entry-level projectors, which helps guarantee better contrast.
