Screen Research Announces the WING at Mondial Photo Image Son in Paris (16/2/2004)

Screen Research will introduce the Wing at the Mondial Image Photo Son of Paris, from March 25th to 29th.

The Wing is the first retractable system to combine an acoustically transparent projection screen and the three front speakers in a Home Cinema system.

Aimed to Home Cinema addicts willing not to sacrifice the aesthetic of the room, and demanding high level performances, the Wing is decorator-friendly and has exceptional integration, audio and video qualities, in a really reduced space compared with existing systems.

The Wing will first be available in a design version. It will then be declined in different versions to be slot in a false ceiling in order to reach a perfect integration in the existing environment.

It will allow the projection of 16:9 format images from 2 m to 2.5 m, using the internationally renowned ClearPix projection screens, associated with THX certification-pending three way speakers of high quality.

Animations and Demonstrations Presented on our Booth at the Mondial:

The whole Screen Research line of projection screens, as well as acoustic treatment panels form CinePanel will be presented on our booth:

- The ClearPix fixed and motorized acoustically transparent screens that have been certified for its high level quality.

- The XMask systems, the best masking range on the market, which was presented at the ISE in Geneva earlier this month. Indeed, those systems will be exhibited to demonstrate their superiority compared with traditional screens.

- And finally, we will use the Paris trade fair opportunity to present the Wing for the very first time. It is retractable system including for the first time ever in a Home Cinema system an acoustically transparent screen and the three front speakers.

CinePanel products will be used to treat the acoustics on our booth during the audio demonstrations.
