Play Your Entire MP3 Music Collection and Internet Radio from Anywhere in the Home (16/2/2004)

It is predicted that this year will see an explosion in downloadable digital music. A wider choice of online music sites coupled with speedier, stable broadband connections means that more people will be listening to more music on their PC!

Invision UK has announced that it is to showcase the AudioTron(tm) Digital Music Player at the forthcoming Sound and Vision Show at the Marriot Hotel Bristol, 20-22nd February 2004.

The AudioTron represents a new generation of Home Entertainment devices that plugs easily into your main hi-fi set up and allows playback of your MP3 music collection and Internet Radio, through that system. This means that you don't have to be in front of your PC to enjoy the benefits of your digital music!

Transforming your PC into a powerful music jukebox has never been easier. Once you have stored music on your PC, you can easily manage your collection, create custom play lists and select songs by title, artist, album and genre, without ever having to search through a pile of CDs.

The AudioTron features a robust Web browser interface, can be used with PC or MAC and is designed to organize and play up to 30,000 MP3 and WMA files, as well as uncompressed WAV files. Analogue and digital outputs provide audiophile-quality music playback. "The level of interest in the AudioTron continues to grow," said Steve Beahan from AudioTron's exclusive distributor, Invision UK. "Digital music players are catching on and the AudioTron is leading the pack."

Multiple Audiotron players can be located throughout the home, so several people can simultaneously listen to Internet Radio broadcasts or play different music from the same computer, making the entire music collection accessible to whole family.

The AudioTron and can be used wired or wireless. To eliminate the need to run cables around the house, simply connect the Audiotron to an existing 802.11b home network using an Ethernet Wireless Bridge, which is available for an extra £70.

The AudioTron retails at £230 including VAT. Retail price including the Ethernet Wireless Bridge is £300 including VAT.
