"CEDIA Dome" scheduled for international debut (2/2/2004)
Geneva, Switzerland will host the international
unveiling of CEDIA's new state-of-the-art traveling display
The Custom Electronic Design and Installation
Association (CEDIA) will unveil its new "CEDIA Dome" to the international
community at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show in Geneva,
Switzerland, February 3-5, 2004.
Packed with countless cutting-edge electronics
elements from plasma screens to revolutionary audio systems, the
CEDIA Dome will provide a fully automated presentation about the
pivotal role CEDIA members play in bringing the world of custom
electronics to life.
CEDIA, one of the partner organizations sponsoring
the ISE trade show, has been educating the world about the benefits
of hiring CEDIA certified professionals to design and install custom
electronics systems for the home. This new exhibit will help solidify
CEDIA's message to electronics professionals and to architects,
builders and interior designers who benefit from partnership with
CEDIA members.
Described as Las Vegas and Epcot wrapped
into one, the CEDIA Dome will engulf viewers in stunning audio and
visual presentations that are as much educational and informative
about CEDIA's purpose as they are spectacular and entertaining.
The high-intensity production will provide information on home theater,
security, lighting control and networking-all areas of service CEDIA
members can provide to consumers.
"CEDIA has so much to offer consumers as
well as interior designers, builders and architects, we felt a need
to encapsulate all of that into one exciting presentation," said
Andy Willcox, chairman of CEDIA's Industry Related Events Council.
"Our hope is that anyone who travels through the CEDIA Dome will
emerge with a complete understanding of CEDIA and be invigorated
by the possibilities of the custom electronics industry."
The inaugural ISE show will be a first for
Europe and the GENEVA PALEXPO, a new state-of-the-art facility serving
as host for this historic event. ISE expects to have more than 120
exhibitors.
