Panther Studios SAVR Controls Sony CD and DVD MegaChangers (21/1/2004)

The popular and powerful SAVR (Serial Audio/Video Remote) is here! This amazing device actually controls your Sony CD and DVD MegaChangers. Throw away all those manual lists and just forget about using Sony's "groups" or it's much-less-than-desirable "Explorer". Browse through your entire DVD collection - by title, genre, actor, directory and more - then start the DVD with a single click! Make any number of Playlists of all your CD's. Set the right mood!

Plus it is very inexpensive! We already have a DVD controller program, Movies!, that works like a charm. Here's a comment from one satisfied user, "...just letting you know that the newest version (with the revised amp portion) works great and I did not need to use the config.xml. This version seems to run faster than the older one. Anyone who owns a Sony DVD Jukebox should be using Movies!. It is a major, major improvement over the built-in filing program, and the interface with DVD Profiler makes it a snap to use..."

We're developing Music! and it should be available soon. In the meantime, more than 12 developers are working on applications to work with this exciting device, including in the UK, so there won't be any shortage of programs!

The SAVR connects directly to your PC through it's RS232 port and to any combination of CD and DVD MegaChangers through the standard mono plug cable (Slinke). There are three configurable ports - Control A1/II or Control-S capability. Price includes power supply and serial cable.
