Axentra enters home networking market with new line
of server appliances (19/1/2004)
Axentra, a pioneer in the development of server
appliance systems, today announced that it will enter the home networking
market with a new line of competitively-priced and feature-rich
server appliances.
Capitalizing on the initial success of its
Rumba Multifunction Server Appliance, Axentra is developing a more
targeted line of server appliances for the home networking market.
These new and affordable all-in-one network and Internet servers
will be based on standard AMD-powered systems and will feature Axentra's
new Server OE 2.0 software suite and OS. Several hardware/software
combinations and feature sets will be available, offering unprecedented
ease of use.

hard-drives to centrally store their ever expanding digital data.
They will also be able to attach external CD and DVD drives to share
content libraries over their network.
Pricing and Availability
The new line of Axentra Home Server Appliances
will be shipping in Q1of 2004. Estimated retail prices will start
from $399 US.
