Gemini Industries Previews Sleek And Silver Adjustable
Speaker Stands For Home Theatre Enthusiasts At 2004 CES (2/1/2004)
Gemini Industries, a leader in the consumer electronics
marketplace, announces two new stylish speaker stands for home theatre
satellite speakers, both boasting a 34 to 44-inch height adjustability.
The GEMST1 and the deluxe model GEMST2 will be on display at the
2004 Consumer Electronics Show, booth #9035 (Central Hall, LVCC),
through January 11.
The GEMST1 speaker stand is designed for
convenience, featuring a two-piece upright adjustable hollowed post
ideal for preferred positioning and perfect for concealing speaker
wiring. Its post is anchored to a flat base that fits inconspicuously
under most couches and chairs. Rubber feet on the base help prevent
scratching linoleum or wood flooring. Sporting a sleek silver or
black finish, the GEMST1 color mirrors the appearance of most other
modern-day home theatre components.
Gemini's flagship speaker stand, the deluxe-fashioned
GEMST2, is comprised of a three-sectioned pole, with each portion
aerodynamically curved. Simple loosening and tightening of post
pieces enables users to lengthen or shorten the stand's height.
The GEMST2 rests on an inwardly curved stand. Similar to the GEMST1,
this model features a shiny silver or black finish and poles that
are able to conceal speaker wire.
"The GEMST1 and GEMST2 were designed
with universality in mind," said Gregory Lebron, Gemini's Business
Unit General Manager. "Their stealth architecture let them
blend in magnificently with any home theatre system and they fit
anywhere in a home theatre setup and support virtually all speaker
models. The included universal mounting hardware accommodates most
speaker models and sizes with several mounting options."
