News Vutec Introduces ArtScreen - A Masking System for Plasma Televisions (2/1/2004) Vutec Corporation has introduced ArtScreen, a masking system designed for plasma televisions and video display systems. ArtScreen capitalizes on Vutec's years of experience manufacturing high-quality, remote controlled, electronic masking systems. ArtScreen is available for all plasma television sizes and custom sizes for projection screens are made to order. Hardwood framing, consistent with a fine work of art, conceals the wall-mounted plasma television. Mounted inside the frame, the artwork ascends and descends with the touch of a remote control or RS-232 controller command (AMX and Creston compatible). When the television is not in use, an image of the purchaser's choosing is displayed within the frame. When the artwork is retracted, the screen is visible for projection or television viewing within the framing. Available images for reproduction can be viewed at www.vutec.com. Custom images, such as family portraits or corporate logos, can be reproduced as well. There is also an ArtScreen solution for recessing a plasma display into the wall for the ultimate in concealment options. With Vutec's special recess kit, the plasma unit can be inserted into the wall, leaving only the framed ArtScreen at the wall surface.
