BenQ FP783 LCD Monitor and Q150 LCD TV Named Honorees for Innovations 2004 Design and Engineering Showcase (16/12/2003)

BenQ announced two of its display products were named Honorees for the Innovations 2004 Design and Engineering Showcase by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). The FP783 17-inch LCD monitor and Q150 15-inch LCD TV were honored in the Computer Hardware and Video categories, respectively. These two products will be showcased at both the BenQ booth and the Innovations booth at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show, January 8-11, 2004, in Las Vegas.

CEA, the producer of the International Consumer Electronics Show, highlights the most innovative products in 21 categories for the 2004 Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase. Products are judged by a panel of prominent industry designers, engineers, and journalists on criteria including user value, aesthetics, contribution to quality of life, and innovative qualities.

"BenQ is extremely pleased and excited to have been recognized by the Innovations Awards judges," said Ralph Tang, president of BenQ America. "It is wonderful to receive this recognition, especially for our design and engineering teams. Not only does BenQ strive for excellence with our entire product line, but BenQ draws on its strength as one of the largest LCD-panel manufacturers to integrate style and performance into its line of LCD monitors and LCD TVs."
