BenQ FP783 LCD Monitor and Q150 LCD TV Named Honorees
for Innovations 2004 Design and Engineering Showcase (16/12/2003)
BenQ announced two of its display products were
named Honorees for the Innovations 2004 Design and Engineering Showcase
by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). The FP783 17-inch
LCD monitor and Q150 15-inch LCD TV were honored in the Computer
Hardware and Video categories, respectively. These two products
will be showcased at both the BenQ booth and the Innovations booth
at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show, January 8-11, 2004, in Las
Vegas.
CEA, the producer of the International Consumer
Electronics Show, highlights the most innovative products in 21
categories for the 2004 Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase.
Products are judged by a panel of prominent industry designers,
engineers, and journalists on criteria including user value, aesthetics,
contribution to quality of life, and innovative qualities.

FP783 LCD Monitor
The BenQ FP783 is a stylish, 17-inch LCD
monitor with an astonishing 12ms response time that produces smooth,
flicker-free images. With a brightness of 300 nits, 500:1 contrast
ratio, 1280 x 1024 resolution, and a 16.2 million-color palette,
the FP783 offers amazingly clear and sharp picture quality. The
FP783 incorporates D-Sub and DVI input connectors and a USB2.0 high-speed
hub. With BenQ's iKey, the BenQ FP783 will automatically calibrate
the input signal and adjust the monitor for the best display image.
It also offers 140/140-degree viewing angles, VESA wall mount, and
Kensington lock support. Optional features include a two-2W speaker
attachment and web camera.
Q150 LCD TV
The BenQ Q150 is a 15-inch, HDTV-compatible
LCD TV that features a built-in TV tuner handle, speakers, and subwoofer,
as well as De-Interlacing and 3D Edge Filtering functions. With
a 4:3 aspect ratio, a contrast ratio of 500:1, and a brightness
of 450 nits, the BenQ Q150 LCD TV delivers the functionality and
flexibility to operate in various environments. It has a native
resolution of 1024 x 768, and is compatible with NTSC, PAL, and
SECAM video applications. The Q150 has D-Sub, PC Audio, TV Tuner
(D-sub to Component video cable included), Composite Video, and
S-Video signal inputs.
