RGB SmartHome introduce the new Action! model zero five Home Cinema projector from projectiondesign (28/11/2003)

RGB SmartHome, the specialist residential division of RGB Communications Ltd, are delighted to introduce the Action! Model Zero Five home cinema projector from Norwegian manufacturer projectiondesign. The Action! Model Zero Five is projectiondesign's new lower cost version of the Action! Model One, their top-of-the-line home cinema DLP projector.

A major feature of the Action! Model Zero Five is that it includes HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) input connectivity as standard, making it compatible with the very latest DVD players and Plasma monitors that feature this new high quality all digital signal transmission system. (The existing Action! Model One projector now also features HDMI connectivity as standard).

While the Zero Five has lower resolution than the Model One, it shares the same philosophy and many of the same components for outstanding image dynamics with high contrast and brightness, neutral yet saturated colours and excellent detail reproduction from the deepest blacks to the whitest whites.

Image quality is key to the Model Zero Five. The non-magnetic magnesium alloy chassis provides a stable platform, not causing any electrical interference or image degradation. The high-resolution optical engine uses aspherical lenses to provide perfect focusing and uniformity; whilst the Texas Instruments single chip Matterhorn DLP technology and Faroudja DCDi progressive scan engine deliver the best possible image quality with any video input. Gold plated printed circuit boards and connectors, individually regulated power supplies and the highest quality components for signal processing all contribute to ensuring dynamic images that will satisfy discerning home cinema enthusiasts.
