Pulse launch Definitive Technology Pro 60 System in the UK (17/11/2003)

As the new distributors for Definitive Technology in the UK, Pulse Marketing is proud to confirm that they will be launching the new Pro 60.60 system during December.

The ProCinema 60 System builds on the technology, performance and styling of our critically acclaimed ProCinema range to bring Definitive's signature sound quality and lifestyle convenience to an incredibly affordable new entry level price point.

This system is a smaller, less expensive version of the best selling ProCinema 80 System. It includes 4 ProMonitor 60s, 1 ProCenter 60 and 1 ProSub 60 all packaged together in one box as a complete system and is available in black at present, with silver to be confirmed in 2004.

The ProMonitor 60 and ProCenter 60 cabinets are moulded from Definitive's proprietary non-resonant PolyStone mineral-filled polymer compound. Both combine unique 3.5" long-throw upper bass/midrange drivers with butyl rubber surrounds (2 in each centre, 1 in each monitor) with Definitive's signature 1" pure aluminium dome tweeter. The ProSub 60 utilizes the same 8" driver as the ProSub 80, driven by an extremely dynamic 150 watt amp. Overall performance is superb with imaging, clarity and impact which totally belie the ProCinema 60s extremely compact size and amazingly affordable price. Dimensions are:

ProMonitor 60 - 6.4"H x 3.8"W x 4.2"D
ProCenter 60 - 4"H x 10.5"W x 4.2"D
ProSub¨ 60 - 12.5"H x 9.5"W x 13.2"D.

Complete System Freq. Response is 23Hz - 30kHz. Rec. Assoc. Amp. is 10 - 150 watts/channel. System retail is £699. Anticipated delivery December 2003.
