New Audio Analogue Products at UKD (12/11/2003)

UKD are proud to announce the arrival of an impressive and comprehensive range of new products from Audio Analogue. This includes two new CD players, a range of stereo and multichannel amplification (including the much anticipated Cinecitta AV processor) plus a turntable and high quality tonearm.

New CD Players

Maestro 192 and Paganini 192.
These two new CD players both employ a new mechanism in the shape of an advanced CD Rom design and include a high quality 24/192 upsampling digital to analogue converter. Quality components are used throughout both designs and the DAC section of the Maestro can be used as an external device thanks to both digital input and output sections. The Maestro 192 has both balanced and unbalanced outputs, along with a stunning new, solid brushed aluminium chassis.

New Amplifiers

Maestro Settanta
The Settanta is a new 70 watt per channel stereo integrated in the Maestro range. It features the new all-silver aluminium look with rounded edges. A stunning high quality green dot matrix display window completes the elegant design package. Among the amplifier's many features there is a preamp bypass for using the Settanta as a power amplifier for front 'speakers in a multichannel system whilst retaining its full function in a stereo system. Carefully selected components are used and it also features high speed, low feedback circuits. The first of the numbered inputs can be used as an MM or MC phono.

Cinecitta Multichannel AV Processor
The Cinecitta Processor is the much anticipated debut into specialist AV from Audio Analogue. The company is the first to use the new Analogue Devices ADV7189 video decoder. The Cincecitta Processor is a unit which sets a new reference in the combination of high-end audio and video products. No-compromise circuit layouts are employed, along with removable and updateable PCBs and compatibility with PCs or home automation systems.

The Processor has an upgradeable decoding board which is currently compatible with Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro-LogicII, DTS-ES and DTS Neo:6. Eight 24bit/192kHz DACs and one 24/192 ADC are found in the processor, composite, component and s-video outputs are available as well as composite, s-video and RGB component outputs. As well as functioning as a video processor, the Cinecitta is a high quality stereo preamplifier, too, featuring even an MM/MC phono stage! These features make the Processor a viable long-term investment and a product for the most discerning music of movie lover.

Cinecitta Multichannel Power Amplifier
The Cinecitta Power Amplifier is the matching multichannel power amplifier to the Multichannel Processor. It provides 150 watts of power into six channels for a muscular yet musical sound for multichannel music and movie soundtracks. Each channel is a separate section that is individually powered and high quality components are used throughout the design. Although superbly constructed and solid, it has Audio Analogue's appearance of classic elegance.

Maestro Preamplifier
This is the first dedicated preamplifier in the Maestro range. It is uniquely designed to incorporate two chassis, one acting as the separate power supply and the other containing the audio processing circuits. There are six single-ended inputs, two balanced inputs, three single ended outputs and one balanced output. Each channel has its own independent analogue power supply and there is a bypass feature for integration with a multichannel system. The Preamplifier is finished in the new all-aluminium style.

Maestro Monaural Power Amplifier
This new mono power amplifier is a very powerful and smooth performer that delivers some 250 watts into 8ohms and up to 1,000 watts into 2 ohms. This provides a musical and controlled sound ideal for both high end stereo and multichannel systems. The design is totally balanced from input to output for optimum sound quality and only highly select components are used in the circuit. The attractive finish rounds off what is a superbly musical and powerful product.

Aria Phono Stage
The Aria is a comprehensive and superbly designed dedicated phono stage. It is compatible with both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges and features a unique 'off line' virtual battery power supply. There is also a variable MC gain for lower output cartridges. The Aria's advanced design ensures low noise and a highly detailed and smooth sound that will impress for even the most discerning audiophiles.

Inciso
The much-anticipated Inciso is the first ever turntable design from Audio Analogue and offers technological benefits and a stylish look. It is based around a massive MDF 80mm machined MDF frame and matching solid feet (decoupled with sorbothane) and features a 50mm thick acrylic platter. Uniquely, the Inciso has adjustable VTA on the 25mm, decoupled arm pivot and is supplied with either an RB250 or 300 Rega arm that has been extensively modified by Audio Analogue. The Inciso is a must-listen for all style conscious vinyl lovers!
