LG Electronics introduces the LH-C6235 and DV1010 which combine DVD and VCR in single units. The LH-C6235 with five satellite speakers and a subwoofer, delivers a complete home entertainment solution. The DV1010 is a sleek single unit that is ideal as part of any space-saving home entertainment set-up. Both systems allow you to take full advantage of DVD and VCR formats offering the latest multi-format playback including DVD-video, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, audio CD and MP3 CD. Kodak Picture CD and Jpeg compatibility ensure that the LH-C6235 and DV1010 are more than DVD and VCR players.

LH-C6235

The stylish silver combi home entertainment system features built-in Dolby Digital decoder, DTS (digital theatre sound), Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby Pro Logic II, enabling you to take full advantage of surround sound formats. The perfect pitch sound quality is delivered through five 20 Watt satellite, 2 way speakers and supported with a 40 Watt subwoofer, bringing the complete cinema experience to your front room.

Not only is the LH-C6235 a DVD and CD player, it supports WMA and MP3 as well. It includes a JPEG viewer allowing for digital camera pictures transferred onto CD to be shown on TV. The LH-C6235 can also be used as a CD player and radio, its built-in tuner allows for FM and AM stations to be received and can store up to 30 preset stations.

The DVD player function incorporates the latest DVD technology including dual optical pick-up and with multi-speed scan, marker and marker search, navigation through DVDs is easy.

The VCR features a 181 Channel Memory, SP/EP recording mode and CM skip. The rewind time of E180 VHS tapes is only 30 seconds.

DV-1010

The DV-1010 is a single sleek unit that delivers exceptional sound and picture performance through both DVD and VCR functions. The versatile system is compatible with DVD, audio CD, CD-R/-RW, DVD R/-R/-RW/+RW.

The DVD player houses the latest home entertainment technologies including dual laser optical pick-ups. Separate laser pick-ups for video and audio ensure that reproduction of sound and picture is superior to that of conventional single laser pick-ups.

Perfect sound quality is guaranteed through the Dolby Digital and DTS Decoders which take advantage of surround sound formatting. Supporting Kodak Picture CD and JPEG Play Slide show enables images taken on a digital camera and transferred onto a CD to be shown on screen. The DVD player also features x4 and x16 zoom, marker and marker search, plus Last Condition Memory which stores the final point the DVD was stopped.

The 4 head VCR comes complete with hi-fi stereo and has SP/LP recording mode. The auto channel set-up and auto channel search makes it is as easy as 'plug and play'. For added convenience, PDC ensures recording onto VHS is simple.
