News Peerless intros flat-panel floor stand for TVs (31/10/2003) Designed specifically for flat-panel televisions, the Vision Point(tm) flat-panel floor stand, by Peerless Industries, Inc. provides an alternative to wall-mounting screens. Utilizing little space, the tapered pedestal and tray make the stand ideal for corner placement in any home, office or boardroom environments where mounting a screen to a wall is not practical. With a distinctive metal design, the flat-panel floor stand is a complement to any contemporary décor. It is designed to support 30"-plus LCDs and plasmas up to 135 lbs. It comes with a height-adjustable bracket to hold the AV tuner underneath the main TV tray. Additional accessory shelves may also be purchased. Up to three shelves can be added to create a "waterfall" effect. Each shelf can support up to 50 lbs. of equipment. To protect floor surfaces, the stand comes with padded feet. Complete internal cord management keeps all the wires out of view. Available in silver, the floor stand has a patent-pending design.
