PRISMIQ MediaPlayer Entertainment Gateway to be Showcased at Fall 2003 Intel Channel Conference

PRISMIQ, Inc., a leader in networked entertainment devices and software, today announced the inclusion of the PRISMIQ MediaPlayer entertainment gateway as part of the Intel Channel Conference (ICC), a targeted training road show specifically designed to educate system builders on the latest products, technology and Intel program benefits, which kicks off today.

The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer is the ideal system for home installers, integrators and builders. The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer can play back digitally-stored audio, video, and photo files on the TV and stereo, whether from one or more home PCs or from a dedicated home media server. The MediaPlayer system also provides Internet access to the TV and stereo for Web on TV capability, Internet radio, instant messaging, and real-time news, stocks and weather feeds on the TV.

The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer integrates with a number of significant products in the connected home market, including Lantronix, Crestron, Philips Pronto Universal remote control, eMusic, PC-based digital video recorders, and Roxio media management software.

"PRISMIQ provides an affordable and flexible solution that continues to lead the market, as evidenced by the top product honors the PRISMIQ MediaPlayer continues to earn," said Brad Kayton, vice president of marketing and business development for PRISMIQ. "We are now making moves into the home integrator/builder market and are pleased to have Intel showcase our product as part of their 40-city ICC tour."

PRISMIQ offers a Home Installers Program (HIP), which makes it easy for home installers and system integrators to deliver profitable projects that meet their clients needs.
