PRISMIQ MediaPlayer Entertainment Gateway to be Showcased
at Fall 2003 Intel Channel Conference
PRISMIQ, Inc., a leader in networked entertainment devices and
software, today announced the inclusion of the PRISMIQ MediaPlayer
entertainment gateway as part of the Intel Channel Conference (ICC),
a targeted training road show specifically designed to educate system
builders on the latest products, technology and Intel program benefits,
which kicks off today.
The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer is the ideal system
for home installers, integrators and builders. The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer
can play back digitally-stored audio, video, and photo files on
the TV and stereo, whether from one or more home PCs or from a dedicated
home media server. The MediaPlayer system also provides Internet
access to the TV and stereo for Web on TV capability, Internet radio,
instant messaging, and real-time news, stocks and weather feeds
on the TV.
The PRISMIQ MediaPlayer integrates with a
number of significant products in the connected home market, including
Lantronix, Crestron, Philips Pronto Universal remote control, eMusic,
PC-based digital video recorders, and Roxio media management software.
