Denon DVD-1400 - Universal DVD Player

DVD-Audio - SACD - DVD - CD - MP3 - Photo CD and More

The DVD-1400 follows the DVD-2900 as the second model in the Denon Universal Player range. Coming soon are the DVD-2200 and the totally insane high-end DVD-A11.

Whilst many competitors are on their first universal player, Denon will be delivering the widest range in the industry.

* new Affordable UNIVERSAL Player
* new SACD - DVD-Audio - DVD-Video - CD
* new 12-bit 54mHz high-end Video DACs
* new 24-bit 192kHz Audio DACs
* new Pure Direct Circuit for audio
* new CD & DVD -R/RW +R/RW Playback
* new Available in Black or Silver

For any format you want to play, the DVD-1400 is packed with DENON hi-fi technology and quality AV engineering, giving superior sound and picture quality at an affordable price.

The slim compact design with its solid alloy fascia is a perfect match for the new generation of Denon AV receivers in black or silver.

The DVD-1400 is designed to bring out the best performance from both pure audio and AV sources. The Pure Direct mode allows the audio signal from Super Audio CD or DVD-Audio to maintain its purity, as it bypasses the video circuitry and runs with video & display sections switched off.

The high-performance video DACs plus a component output, make the DVD-1400 an ideal complement to the range of affordable Plasmas, LCDs and recent widescreen CRT sets with component inputs.

Bass Management

When playing multi-channel DTS, Dolby Digital, LPCM or MDLP sources on DVD-Video, DVD-A or SACD discs, it is possible to preset speaker configurations, delay time (not SACD) and channel levels.
