Parks Associates' Fall Focus Seminars Feature 50+
Industry Leaders
Executive seminars, hosted Oct. 29 & 30 and Nov. 5 & 6, bring insight
into broadband services and multimedia applications in the home
Parks Associates welcomes more than 50 speakers from the cable,
hardware, software, service provider, and computing industries to
its inaugural Fall Focus seminars, Banking on Broadband Services
and The Home Multimedia Experience. Each one-and-a-half day Fall
Focus seminar concentrates on a specific industry topic and offers
insight through interaction, analysis, and networking. Banking on
Broadband Services will be held Oct 29 & 30 at the Park Central
Hotel in New York City, and The Home Multimedia Experience will
take place Nov 5 & 6 at the Hyatt San Jose.
Banking on Broadband Services, October 29
& 30, is for equipment vendors and service providers who provide
content solutions and applications to consumers. "The array of speakers
featured at Banking on Broadband Services is second-to-none," said
Michael Greeson, vice president and principal analyst for Parks
Associates. "The event brings together leaders from both broadband
service providers and the vendor community in order to identify
and examine broadband service strategies that are capable of creating
revenue in today's uncertain environment."
The Home Multimedia Experience, November
5 & 6, will provide attendees with a complete analysis of content
and its role in the multimedia digital value chain; home networking
technologies that will spur the growth of multimedia hubs/servers;
as well as CE platforms and next-generation services. "We have a
comprehensive collection of speakers, covering platforms to services
to content, which will provide an unprecedented analysis of both
the current and future state of digital entertainment in the home,"
said Kurt Scherf, vice president of research at Parks Associates.
