SMC Awarded CEDIA Dealer Of The Year

London based custom installer SMC are pleased to announce that they have won CEDIA's worldwide dealer of the year 2003 award. This is the first time the award has gone to a European dealer.

Steve Moore, SMC's managing director, who collected the award at CEDIA's USA Expo in Indianapolis on the 6th September, was delighted that the company had been given such a prestigious honour and put SMC's success down to "team work, dedication and having highly trained, skilful staff."

The winning of this award is another highlight in a busy year for SMC. The year has already seen SMC achieve NACOSS and SSAIB approval for installing and maintaining security systems, which enables SMC to offer "a fully integrated whole house system."

In addition SMC have also been awarded Investor in People accreditation acknowledging the company's commitment to all employees and their professional development.

The Investor in People award was followed by ISO9000 accreditation, which saw SMC evaluating, improving where necessary and monitoring all internal systems within the company. "It was a rigorous process but invaluable," says Steve Moore "and will enable SMC to deliver even higher levels of service to our clients."
