DWIN Introduces New TranScanner3 Native Digital Video Processor

DWIN Electronics, announces the introduction of its new Digital Video Processor at this year's CEDIA Expo.

The TranScanner(tm)3 accepts video signals from virtually all video sources and provides digital output (DVI) to match the native resolution of DLP(tm)/LCD projectors or Plasma displays; making the TranScanner(tm)3 the definitive choice for digital display improvement in home theater application and professional installations.

The TranScanner(tm)3 incorporates digital home theater features, intuitive Home Theater Menus, eight-device back-lit remote control, RS-232 control for home automation systems and 10 video inputs: 2 DVI/HDCP, 2 RGB, 2 S-Video, 2 Component, and 2 Composite. Offering the most flexibility, DWIN's unique design allows the TranScanner(tm)3 to be conveniently located at the video sources while the video projector or plasma display can be mounted elsewhere for ideal performance. A single digital cable delivers video signals to the projector or plasma display. This flexibility allows for unprecedented ease of installation and the best picture quality.

The TranScanner(tm)3 provides true high definition and stunning film-like images on digital displays. Deep black levels and natural color reproduction are secured with precision gray scale settings; motion artifacts are reduced with Adaptive Film Mode Processing; picture depth is increased with signal dynamic range expansion; and picture detail is enhanced by DWIN's exceptional video signal processing.
