Movies and Music Come to Life With New Universal Pioneer DVD Player

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. began shipping a new multimedia DVD player, the DV-563A, a full-featured single-play universal DVD player that offers both DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD (SACD) playback and plays MP3 compressed music format. In addition, it features PureCinema(TM) progressive scan and a photo viewer for digital images.

DVD-Audio/SACD:

The DV-563A plays back DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD (SACD) titles, which offer a resounding multi-channel audio experience. Both DVD- Audio and SACD are growing in popularity with more than 1000 titles currently available and many more scheduled for release this year.

Compressed Audio:

The unit has the ability to play MP3 compressed audio files. Fans of compressed audio will appreciate the on-screen menu that enables simple navigation and song selection from the remote control or the front-panel of the DVD player.

Digital Photos:

A photo viewer is built into the player, enabling users to create an ongoing slide show of digital images. This feature allows the entire family to view photos on the television screen instead of hunching over a small computer monitor.

Image Quality:

Pioneer's PureCinema(TM) progressive scan circuitry is engineered into the player for ultimate image quality.
