Auton to Showcase New Flip-Down Plasma Unit at 2003
CEDIA Expo
For the first time, Auton Motorized Systems will showcase their
newest innovation, the Flip-Down Plasma Unit, at CEDIA Expo 2003,
held in Indianapolis, September 5-7 at the Indiana Convention Center.
Designed to help conceal a TV in the ceiling
for those with little room to spare, Auton's new Flip-down Plasma
Unit takes up only 11 1/2" because it lays flat when not in use.
Standard dimensions are 42"W x 11 1/2" H x 32"D, and custom sizes
are available. Auton's Flip-Down Plasma Unit is different from competitor's
recent models, in that it first drops from the ceiling 5" before
it flips into viewing position, preventing the top of the Plasma
TV from becoming obscured within the ceiling!
Auton's line of Plasma Lifts, the first of
their kind in the motorized lift market, offer three styles to choose
from: the ceiling pop-down, the basic up-and-down lift, and now,
the Flip-Down model. Both the ceiling pop-down and basic up-and-down
lifts are available with the swivel option, and of course, all three
are available with Auton's award-winning automatic shut-off switch.
Auton Motorized Systems of Valencia, Calif.,
is the world's first and largest manufacturer of motorized television
lifts. Since its inception in 1955, Auton has been providing motorized
lift systems for architects, designers, and fine furniture makers,
opening up a whole new array of design options! Auton lift systems
are installed throughout the world in fine homes, offices, hotels,
yachts and aircraft.
Auton uses a remote controlled, rack and
pinion system which, unlike the old fashioned "scissor-type" lifts,
eliminates wobble and can easily lift uneven loads. These systems
are available in many standard sizes, but can easily be customized
to your exact specifications. And, to assure the quality of our
systems, all of Auton's products are made in the U.S. and are backed
by a four year limited warranty.
