Phase Technology Intros New Products at CEDIA Expo 2003

Phase Technology, manufacturer of high fidelity home entertainment speakers, is gearing up its presentation for CEDIA Expo 2003 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Phase Technology is unveiling an entirely new line of speaker systems - Velocity - and will demo the V-12 System from that series. From its Custom Installation series, Phase Tech is introducing two new subwoofer systems, the SUB 200 & SUB 100 In-Wall Powered Subwoofer Systems. Phase Technology will showcase these newest product lines along with speakers from the Premier Collection and Teatro Series as well as the Spacia In-Wall Speaker System.

"We are very excited to debut our new speakers at CEDIA EXPO 2003," stated Roberta Lewis, vice president of sales and marketing for Phase Technology. "All of our lines have been designed with aesthetics in mind to effortlessly integrate with any home's decor while delivering highly defined, powerful performance at a great value. We invite dealers to demo our speakers at CEDIA and witness first-hand why they are often compared with systems twice or three times their cost."

The Velocity V-12 Home Theater System includes five full-range speakers and a High Velocity subwoofer. The full-range configuration consists of two V-12 3-way, floor-standing, front channel towers, a V-6 center channel speaker and two V-Surround bi-polar, surround speakers. The HV-1200 Powered Subwoofer has a 250-watt on board amp and a 12" mica/graphite polypropylene driver. The Velocity line features all new tweeters and woofers for clear and exhilarating sound and a sleek, streamlined new driver basket in two styles of cabinet finishes, Sun Maple and Black Rosewood laminate.

Expanding its Custom Installation series, Phase Tech is introducing the new SUB 200 and SUB 100 In-Wall Powered Subwoofer Systems. The SUB 200 subwoofer features massive dual 8" drivers while the SUB 100 has a 7" driver to produce incredibly loud, highly defined bass that rivals box subwoofers. Each sub in the system is powered by a 200-watt/350-watt peak P200 Outboard Amplifier, the largest in its category and has its own in-wall enclosure box. Phase Technology created these systems as a solution for custom installers looking to put big subwoofer sound in a completely invisible home theater or sound system meant to be heard and not seen.

Also being featured is the Premier Collection's PC 1.1II bookshelf monitor and the PC Subwoofer. PC 1.1II's with it's 1" soft dome variable-axis tweeter, 6-1/2" RPF solid piston woofer, and the PC Subwoofer's 10" mica/graphite polypropylene driver continue to set benchmarks for music and movie soundtrack reproduction.

Rounding out Phase Technology's exhibition is the Spacia In-Wall Speaker System. Its high-definition 3" wide-range driver, which mounts in a dual gang J-box, and a 7" in-wall or in-floor woofer have redefined subtlety of speaker presence and installation versatility with an ultra-compact design and appearance that mimics common electrical wallplates.
