News 6/8/2003 Pragmatic launches TrueMusic(tm) 5.1 digital system Pragmatic Communications Systems, Inc., innovator and leader in wired and wireless audio/video control and signal distribution, has started shipping the new and improved TrueMusic(tm) 5.1 digital system. The system is a powerful, wireless digital audio transmission system capable of transmitting Dolby(r) Digital 5.1 DTS and Digital PCM data. The TrueMusic 5.1 digital system has applications for wireless home theater and multiroom digital audio distribution. The system features a transmission range of about 300 feet, with 50,000 uV/m at 3 m. The system accepts coaxial digital data for transmission and is available in both 902MHz to 928MHz and 2.4GHz spectrums. The transmitter has dimensions of 2.4"x1.6"x1" and weighs approximately 1 oz. The receiver has dimensions of 5.5"x3.3"x1" and weighs approximately 5 oz. With a two-year warranty program, Pragmatic ensures quality, affordability, simplicity, reliability and pain-free installation for this system.
