The new Lifestyle 18 is the latest addition to the new breed of digital home entertainment systems from Bose. Combining innovative Bose technologies with elegant and intuitive design, the Lifestyle 18 represents outstanding value in a home cinema system with performance you can count on every time.

Five virtually invisible speakers, at just 7.6cm high each, deliver a cinematic surround sound experience to rival that of much larger conventional models. Meanwhile an Acoustimass module produces the bass adding warmth and depth to the sound and an extra dimension to low-frequency special effects. The new Acoustimass module has been redesigned and now plays louder and lower than ever before, it also has the advantage that it can be positioned away from sight without affecting the quality of the sound - or the styling of your interior.

At the heart of the Lifestyle 18 is a Media Centre, containing an integral DVD/CD player as well as an AM/FM tuner and connections for auxiliary sources. The DVD operates with Dolby and DTS surround sound formats as well as the Bose designed Videostage 5 technology, which has the ability to process stereo and even mono soundtracks into full surround sound.

The Lifestyle 18 system doesn't limit sound to just one room. By adding extra Bose powered speakers to your system you can bring sound to other areas of your home. Listen to the radio on the patio through Bose environmental speakers whilst a DVD plays in the lounge.

Also available as an accessory to the Lifestyle 18 is the revolutionary ADAPTiQ(tm) audio calibration system that customises the sound of the system to your individual room.
