Crestron Expands and Takes Direct Control of the
UK Market
Effective immediately, the RGB Communications Crestron Distributorship
has been terminated. This exciting new development signals growth,
creates new opportunities, and provides Crestron dealers in the
UK with direct product supply, customer support and a consistent
pricing program.
This new move allows Crestron, the world
leader in control, automation and distribution solutions, to be
the sole provider of all of its products and systems throughout
the United Kingdom. Crestron can now offer all of its UK dealers
a direct, exclusive route for regular, lower pricing, factory-direct
product warranty policies and our award-winning True Blue customer
support.
"We understand that our role in the UK as
the leader in control means that we need to have direct relationships
with our dealers in this very important market," explained Executive
Vice President Randy Klein. "We're very confident that this new,
distributor-free process of supply, support and pricing will make
our UK dealers very happy and increase their business significantly."
This reorganization is just the latest example
of Crestron's commitment to providing the best products, support
and distribution in the industry. The company recently closed its
financial year, where revenues grew nearly 50% and expenditures
in product development and customer support were doubled.
Crestron UK, under the direction of Robin
van Meeuwen, recently opened new offices in Kingston-upon-Thames,
Surrey that were custom designed to provide first-class technical
support and the facility's fully equipped training room provides
a comfortable setting for regularly held courses in system design
and programming, free of charge to dealers.
