News 1/6/2003 The Metropole range from Silent Gliss The Metropole range of contemporary decorative curtain poles from Silent Gliss has proved to be an extremely popular collection since its launch in early 2002. Metropole - the curtain pole that can be bent to fit a bay window combines functionality with style. Silent Gliss have added two new moods to the collection to encompass both traditional and minimalist looks. The new moods Overture and Metropole complement the existing moods of Mono, Teatro, Primavera and Studio. Overture features classic, timeless and elegant poles with traditional ball end finials in a choice of 10 finishes, including wood effects. Co-ordinating brackets and covers complete the elegance. Metropole features curtain poles in metal finishes with minimalist styling and co-ordinating "ultra" brackets for a sleek and modern look. As with all of the Metropole range functionality is key. Gliders run in siliconised aluminium channels in the poles and can pass intermediate brackets to provide continuous curtains around bay windows trouble-free and silent. Metropole is also great for straight applications.
