We are seeking to appoint a Project Manager to join our dynamic and fast growing company. Work will be based at our offices in Orpington, Kent although travel abroad will also be required from time to time.
Typical duties may include the following:
Attendance at site meetings
Liaison with clients and suppliers
Agreement of variations to specification with client
Ensuring contract terms are met
Scheduling labour resource
Liaison with the purchasing department to ensure timely procurement
Overseeing system installation and handover to client
Arranging production of professionally presented as-built documentation for our clients
Ensure that projects are completed within agreed timescales and within budget
Liaison with our accounts department with regards to project finances
Preparation of job scope for use by our installation engineers on site and maintenance of Task List
Compilation of project status reports (where applicable) for both internal and external use.
Reviewing and instigating procedures and processes to improve efficiency
Representing the Company's best interests |
Qualifications/ experience: |
You will have some experience managing large scale projects and have good people skills.
You will have at least a basic technical knowledge of AV and networking type systems and will be competent using software such as MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat for PDF creation and a basic ability to use AutoCAD for viewing and modifying drawings.
A creative flair and a keen eye for aesthetics would be an advantage.

Experience of specifying, CAD and installation of Opus systems would be a distinct advantage, as would a CEDIA level one qualification. You will need to be IT literate with good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel. |
