Newsletter - 6 August 2007 - Automation

HiddenWires has reached another landmark - July 2007 saw traffic to the site top 200,000 visitors. The exact figures were 209,206 visitors, 1,092,237 pages and 3,401,277 hits.

We are also pleased to announce that the HiddenWires recruitment service is now open. Visit our recruitment page if you're looking for a job, and if you have a vacancy to fill you can use the online recruitment form. We are also working on a CV submission service which will be available shortly.

We have always had a policy of supporting worthwhile industry events and have two to highlight this month. Firstly, the organisers of the T3 Smart Home Zone @ The London Homebuilding & Renovating Show have offered our readers free tickets. To take advantage of this offer, simply click here. Secondly, the Integrated Systems Europe Roadshow 2007 will be held in Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Croatia this year. From projection and display solutions to audio systems, lighting control, integrated home, rental and staging systems, leading suppliers and manufacturers will be showcasing their premier products at these events. Registration is open now and seating is limited.

Finally, our feature this month is Automation & Control, and is sponsored by COMPUTERLINKS. We have six articles covering the combination of Stardraw Control 2007 and Global Caché for cost-effective home automation, open protocols for smart home applications, an update on KNX, moving towards a mass market, home controls trends and opportunities and an industry opinion piece on home automation developments.
