Integrated Systems Europe 2006 is fast approaching and in case you missed our previous notice, HiddenWires is producing a special ISE 2006 news section, as well as a HiddenWires@ISE 2006 newsletter. The newsletter will be distributed in print at the show and online as a PDF. If you are exhibiting, please contact us to make sure you are included. We attended an interesting event in November courtesy of Kef called LifeSquared. Microsoft and its partners have converted an old college building in Chelsea Harbour into a work and living environment to showcase "the latest digital lifestyle technology." The real life scenarios, complete with scripted actors, showed how various products could be integrated seemlessly. This provided a much more powerful experience than individual product demonstrations. Kef's contribution was the KHT6000 ACE 5.1 surround system and we hope to bring you a case study of this initiative shortly. Now how about something similar showing integrated home automation at the Ideal Home Show or the Smart Home Show?
