What's new?

A direct clash of dates meant we had to attend the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam last month, rather than the CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis. However, between reports back from colleagues and our CEDIA Expo news coverage, which dominates this newsletter and with still more to come, we feel we were there 'virtually'.

Although we were attending IBC to find out about the latest production and post production technology - anyone interested can visit SYPHAonline.com for more information - many companies were talking about the 'digital home', the Displays Zone presented displays from both the professional arena and top-end consumer applications, and of course there was plenty of discussion about high definition television (HDTV).
