What's new?
HiddenWires celebrated its second birthday at the CEDIA UK Expo last
week and we'd like to say a big thank you to the CEDIA team for a great
event. Although we're waiting for the final attendance figures, it was
announced that visitors on the first day alone exceeded attendance for
the entire 2004 Expo. The seminars were packed and there were still plenty
of visitors on the stands when the show closed. To accommodate this continued
growth, next year's event will take place at ExCeL London, located in
Docklands.
For those who didn't get to see everything they wanted to, or for those
who didn't attend, we have compiled a special CEDIA
UK Expo 2005 news section and our HiddenWires@CEDIA
UK Expo 2005 newsletter is also available as a PDF file.
We'd like to welcome our new subscribers from the CEDIA Expo and to remind
you to get yourselves listed in our products
and services directory - it's free! Thanks also to all the installers
we met who took the time to answer our never-ending questions, and to
tell us about the industry and their businesses. We look forward to hearing
from you - whether you want to write an article or make a suggestion.
Our feature this month is the Environment and is sponsored by Lutron.
We have four articles covering energy management, sound proofing, central
vacuum systems and security systems.
