What's new?
HiddenWires celebrated its first birthday at the CEDIA UK Expo last week.
We've exceeded all our expectations in the first year - so thank you to
everyone who uses the site and to all those who have contributed content.
In May 2004, 35,072 visitors requested 253,030 pages and generated 568,572
hits.
We'd also like to say a big thank you to the CEDIA team for a great show.
The Birmingham ICC was a smart venue, if a little tricky to figure out
at first, and not only was there more to see, but attendance was up 3%
on last year with 3096 visitors. We have compiled an archive
of expo announcements and the HiddenWires
CEDIA UK Expo preview newsletter is still available as a PDF file.
The feature this month is Audio/Video and we have four articles covering
multiroom AV systems, AV cables and connectors, multiformat players and
outdoor AV.
We also have a two part case study, courtesy of CEDIA, looking at an
integrated home installation. The first part covers the benefits for the
consumer, and the second part looks at how it was achieved.
On the news front, as well as the CEDIA UK Expo roundup mentioned already,
